CSUMB Accessibility Improvements
Description
Ifland Engineers provided CSUMB with civil engineering plans to construct a 5-foot wide accessible path of travel to the entrance of the existing Health Center building. New curb ramps with truncated dome warning surface material were also required at all four of the corners of the nearby intersection of Inter-Garrison Road and Fourth Avenue. Additionally, a new code-compliant curb ramp and adjacent sidewalk improvements were designed for one corner of the intersection of 6th Avenue and A Street. Under a separate task order, Ifland Engineers also provided CSUMB with plans for construction of a 6-foot wide accessible path of travel across open ground between the existing walk at University Center to Parking Lot 43. New curb ramps with truncated dome warning surface material, crosswalk striping and adjacent sidewalk improvements were required to cross 6th Avenue and the parking lot entrance drive.
