The project consists of widening a major arterial street from two travel lanes to four lanes for a distance of 2700 feet (0.50 miles) from Ross Avenue to Freedom Blvd. Also included is the reconstruction of four street intersections along with a new connection to Aviation Way and the installation of a new underground drainage system. Particularly challenging is the interface of the proposed improvements with existing property frontages and improvements.
