Mr. Ifland, Vice
President, Principal Designer, and Project Manager, co-founded Ifland Engineers, Inc. in 1962. His
professional experience spans 44 years, first as an engineering
technician and drafter, then design engineer and surveyor and, for
the past 37 years, principal designer and project manager. Mr.
Ifland has extensive engineering expertise in land development
projects for residential subdivisions, commercial and industrial
sites and institutional land uses for both public and private
sector clients, with project values up to $20M. His design
experience includes land use planning, site evaluations, site
grading and earthworks, hydraulic/hydrology analysis, storm drain
systems, sanitary sewer facilities, water systems, streets and
roadways and the coordination of utilities. Mr. Ifland’s
experience also includes assessment district formation and
improvements, cost estimating, permit processing, specifications
writing, and construction support and observation.
